Cloudwine is a specialty wine retailer that specialise in small Australian wineries and limited production wine – with a big focus on customer satisfaction. Their website platform was reaching end of life, so they took the opportunity to migrate to Shopify, and they haven’t looked back since.

By restructuring the product data and site navigation, we were able to significantly improve the SEO ratings of the site leading to a higher volume of organic traffic. The improved customer usability also resulted in an increase in sales revenue and average order value.
Working with our senior design team, we developed a strong front-end visual to enhance the brand. Given the premium nature of the wines and the exceptional service from the store, we wanted an elegant design to convey this immediately. Our design team developed each of the key pages and elements to improve the customer experience and allow visitors to flow through to the cart with ease. Our experienced Shopify developers then transformed this design into the working website to deliver a beautifully branded site for the client.
With close to 2,000 different wines in-store – ease of navigation was imperative to ensure customers could interact with the large variety on offer and still make wine selections to suit their taste. With that in mind, we developed a strong, but simple mega-menu navigation menu, and filtering system to allow people to find the wine they are after, based on attributes such as wine type, grape variety and the region of production.
